Does Slither accept Payments?

Down payments and deposits are non-refundable.  

If you change your mind you will have the option to transfer the money to another animal one time or use it as a credit towards a future purchase.  

Payments are a third down with completion of the remaining balance within 60 to 90 days depending on the amount. We will consider further flexibility in certain circumstances so feel free to ask. 

We ship out animals on Wednesday for Thursday delivery unless there are shipping delays. Animals paid in full by Wednesday afternoon will be shipped out. Any orders made Wednesday evening or later will be shipped the following week.

When temperatures are below 50 ° F or above 80 ° F on either end we will require that the shipment be held at the FedEx hub of your choosing.

Animals will not be shipped without confirmation that you will be able to receive them on Tuesday. You, as the recipient of the shipment, are required to contact us the Tuesday prior to your shipping day of Wednesday to confirm that you are going to be able to receive the package on Thursday and verify the correct address information and/or fedex shipping location. If you do not communicate with us the Tuesday prior you will not receive your shipment until the following week. We ship too many animals each week, so it is your responsibility to communicate. 

We will not ship if there are delays in the FedEx system. The safety of the animals overrides desire. Thank you for your patience and willingness to communicate with us in order to ensure that you receive your animals safely.

We will not ship under any circumstances if temperatures are below 40 °  on either end.

Slither guarantees live arrival of any animal that we ship. Upon receiving the animal you are required to do an immediate inspection. If you find any problems or issues, you are required to immediately respond notifying us of these issues. Although we are willing to help you as much as possible, you are responsible for the animal from the moment you receive it and open the box.  

You and a representative of Slither will come to an agreement on a fair market value for the animals you desire to trade. Due to the fact that this is a business, we need to have a profit margin. We will give you a wholesale value of 50% of the agreed upon market value of your animal as a credit towards any Slither animal on the availability list. For example, if we determine that we can sell your boa for $200, we will give you a $100 credit towards any animal on the availability list.

If there is shipping involved you will pay to ship your animals to us and we will pay to ship our animals to you.  Please understand, you will have to ship your animal first in order for us to have the ability to do a health inspection on your animal prior to shipping to you. Keep in mind we may be able to arrange local pickup or you can meet us at a show. 

If you are interested in doing a trade with Slither, send us a list of what you have up for trade and what you believe the animal would sell for at fair market value. Each animal priced separately. 

Please note, if you don’t see anything you want on our list your credit can always be saved for future use.

It is your responsibility to know your local county and state laws concerning all exotic animals. It is impossible for us to be able to check up on every person that inquires about the sale of an animal. If you purchase an animal from slither that you are not allowed to own, and that we are not legally able to ship to you, our strict no refunds rule still applies. We will, however, allow you to use the money that you paid towards a different animal that you are allowed to own. 

Perfect placement of our animals is our number one priority. We want the animals to be happy, and we want you to be happy. If you have maintained the animal properly and the animal is in perfect healthy condition, you can trade it back and we will gladly give you a credit in the exact amount that you paid for the animal in full towards any other animals that we have available.
